It will have happened to you, ironing or having you ironing the shirts of dark color, to notice that they take a shiny patina very unsightly and really ugly to see.
You can safely avoid it in different ways, ironing it on the reverse side, or using a cotton cloth between the iron and the shirt to be ironed.
There are also commercially available cloths or nets that avoid not only ruining the garments during ironing,
(in fact, anti-shine) but they make ironing easier by keeping the folds longer, avoiding burns.
