BATISTE COTTON

  • The cotton batiste fabric is very light and its canvas weave is made of thinly combed threads.
    It is used for quality shirts for its qualities of great breathability and shine.
    The Batista name comes from the great weaver Baptiste Cambray who in the thirteenth century was the first to weave with a procedure then unknown extreme ends so as to favor the emergence of a thriving market in the region of Cambresis today French but then included in the German Empire.
    The cotton batiste is always present in top-level shirts and is also appreciated by those who wear it soon realize the differences between this fabric and the cheaper cotton.
