THE INTERIORS OF SHIRTS

  • The most delicate parts of the men's shirt are the collar and the cuffs, which are the most subject to rubbing and therefore wear.
Within the cuffs and the collars we have a reinforcement, generally in cotton cloth that has the function of supporting and giving body.
There are several weights of these reinforcements depending on what you want to get, more ornate or softer collars and cuffs if we want to have a more classic and rigid shirt, or more soft and casual.
The interior before being inserted should be washed as it is used for the fabric itself of the shirt.
The most prized are sewn by hand and are of course more expensive, the standard interiors are bonded and apply with the heat of ironing.
